Tyre size search

Q: I cannot find the size of tyre that I am looking for?

A: It could be that you have input the tyre size details incorrectly. You can click on sidewall markings for help on what you need to input or alternatively refer to your manufacturer's handbook.

Q: I am not sure which variants to select from the drop down menus?

A: The table below lists all the possible variants contained in the four search fields.

Please note :

  1. A tyre with a ZR marking can withstand speeds in excess of 240Km/h.
  2. Tyres with an LT marking (light truck tyres) have increased load capacity. Please see our driving tips page for the LT pressure conversion table.
  3. Prefix P (P metric) - passenger car tyres made to T & RA North American Standards.

Confused about which width to select?

When you are inputting the width of your tyre you will notice that some tyres have an LT or P prefix i.e. LT215 or P255 as opposed to just 215 or 255. The LT and P tyres are of a different construction and therefore you need to be sure that if you want a 215 width you do not choose LT215. Prefix P (P Metric) are passenger car tyres made to T & RA North American standards. For more information about the LT prefix tyres, click here.

Confused about which profile (series) to select?

Some profiles have a ZR suffix. This indicates a tyre speed in excess of 240 Km/h, please view the speed symbol table for more information. If you are selecting a profile with a ZR suffix e.g. 30ZR then you need to be sure that it is not actually a 30R that you need. A selection of a ZR suffixed profile may not deliver a speed rating in your results as it may not apply.

Confused about which rim to select?

Some tyres may have a C suffix i.e. 15C as opposed to 15. Choosing a rim with a C suffix will deliver tyres of a commercial type construction for light vans and MPVs.

Confused about which speed rating to select?

Refer to notes on profile, some ZR tyres do not have speed and load index markings.

Q : Still cannot find my tyre?

A: Try using an alternative search method, e.g. search by vehicle or search by pattern. Although Dunlop manufacture tyres for most specifications it may be that Dunlop does not make a tyre in that size.
